Abuja, Nigeria
Skyline Nexus ERP gives Abuja contractors, property managers and hotels with turnover under NGN 1bn one ledger for projects, leases, maintenance and VAT invoices.
Firms in the Central Business District, Wuse and Maitama can use it today, while larger businesses join the waitlist for the Nigerian e-invoicing connector.
Plans from $19 per month, plus VAT where it applies · Prices shown in USD; we do not publish a Nigeria price list yet.
The free trial is for businesses under NGN 1bn annual turnover. Larger businesses need the NRS e-invoicing connection, which is not available yet: join the waitlist and we will tell you when it is.
Abuja at a glance
Official figures for Abuja are being verified; we only publish numbers with a named source.
Abuja was built as Nigeria's capital, and its private economy follows the federal government. Ministries and agencies fill the Central Business District and Garki, Maitama holds embassies and upmarket homes, Wuse mixes markets, shops and professional firms, light industry works out of the Idu Industrial Area, and technology firms cluster in the Abuja Technology Village free zone.
Several national bodies are headquartered here, including the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Nigeria Revenue Service and SMEDAN, while the FCT Internal Revenue Service collects PAYE and territory levies and the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry connects local firms. Skyline Nexus ERP gives the contractors, landlords and hotels of the territory one ledger behind their invoices.
A large part of Abuja's private sector lives on government work: construction contractors, ICT suppliers, consultancies, facility managers and caterers serving ministries and agencies. Their contracts come with milestones, retention and interim valuations, payment can arrive months after the work, and every naira of mobilisation and expense has to be traceable when the client's auditors ask.
In Skyline Nexus ERP each government contract runs as a project with its contract terms, milestones, budget and material requisitions, and every journal line can be tagged to the project and a cost centre. The Budget vs Actual report shows overspending early, the AR Aging Report tracks valuations still awaiting payment, and the CRM follows tenders and proposals from the first contact.
From established estates in Maitama and Wuse to new developments on the edges of the city, Abuja's property market supports developers, builders and managers of homes and office blocks. A property manager may look after many units across several estates, collecting rent, service charges and deposits while organising repairs for tenants who expect a quick response.
The BMS module of Skyline Nexus ERP records buildings, units and leases, and the FMS module maps floors and spaces and handles allocations and move requests. Tenant complaints become CMMS maintenance requests and work orders, planned maintenance keeps generators, pumps and lifts running, and a cost centre per estate shows what each building earns after repairs.
Conferences, diplomatic visits and government events keep Abuja's hotels busy, from large venues such as the Transcorp Hilton to smaller hotels and serviced apartments in Wuse and Garki, and restaurants and caterers follow the same calendar. Costs rise with every event, and generators, kitchens and guest rooms need constant upkeep to keep corporate and official clients returning.
Skyline Nexus ERP runs each restaurant, bar and banqueting outlet as a business location with its own stock and tills, with POS features for kitchen orders. Event quotations and proformas turn into invoices, the Stock Expiry Report protects food stock, and CMMS work orders keep rooms and equipment in service, while reservations stay in the hotel's own booking system.
Compliance
Nigeria runs a clearance e-invoicing system (NRS Merchant Buyer Solution). Large taxpayers since Nov 2025 and medium taxpayers since Jul 2026 must obtain an IRN, cryptographic stamp and QR from NRS before an invoice is valid — Nexus cannot do this yet. Businesses under NGN 1bn turnover may issue standard VAT invoices (TIN, RC number, 7.5% VAT) from Nexus until 1 Jul 2027.
VAT 7.5%; all taxable persons need a Tax ID; small companies (<= NGN 100m) VAT-exempt
Invoice must show TIN, CAC number, number, date, buyer, gross and VAT
NRS MBS clearance (IRN/CSID/QR) mandatory: large Nov 2025, medium Jul 2026, small Jul 2027
Nexus has no MBS connector — only usable below NGN 1bn turnover today
Keep records 6 years; penalty NGN 200,000 + 100% tax for uncleared supplies
Checked 2026-10-10. Nigeria: full compliance guide
As of October 2026 an Abuja business charges VAT at 7.5% under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, effective 1 January 2026, and needs a Tax ID; companies with turnover up to NGN 100m are VAT-exempt. NRS clearance e-invoicing is phased in by size: NGN 5bn and above since November 2025, NGN 1bn to 5bn since July 2026, and smaller businesses from 1 July 2027.
Because Skyline Nexus ERP has no NRS/MBS e-invoicing connector, it is usable today only by businesses under NGN 1bn turnover, until 1 July 2027. An Abuja business above that line should join our waitlist rather than risk the NGN 200,000 penalty plus 100% of the tax on uncleared supplies. Smaller firms issue VAT invoices with TIN and CAC number and keep records for 6 years.
An Abuja contractor or landlord under NGN 1bn turnover can bring three things to Skyline Nexus ERP: a client and supplier list with balances, a register of properties or equipment, and the last trial balance. Contacts, products, fixed assets and the chart of accounts import from CSV or Excel templates, and the trial balance becomes balanced opening balances on a single screen.
Within the free trial, which runs in naira, an Abuja team has room to set up one contract as a project, one building with its leases and a month of test postings. You reach support in English through WhatsApp, phone or e-mail; there is no office in the territory. Firms near the turnover line, and groups with several estates or hotels, should book a demo first.
Not yet. An Abuja contractor above NGN 1bn turnover must clear every invoice through the NRS Merchant Buyer Solution, and Skyline Nexus ERP has no NRS/MBS connector. Skyline Nexus is usable today only by businesses under NGN 1bn turnover, until 1 July 2027, so a larger contractor should join our waitlist and keep its cleared invoicing where it is.
An Abuja business shows its TIN, its CAC registration number, an invoice number and date, the buyer, the gross amount and the VAT at 7.5%. Skyline Nexus ERP prints those fields on its invoice layouts for businesses under NGN 1bn turnover. Supplies that should have been cleared through NRS but were not carry a penalty of NGN 200,000 plus 100% of the tax.
Yes. Skyline Nexus ERP gives an Abuja property manager a BMS module for buildings, units and leases, an FMS module for floors, spaces and move requests, and a CMMS module that turns tenant complaints into work orders. Cost centres per estate show income and repair costs, so each landlord sees the result of every building.
Yes. An Abuja government contractor can run each contract in Skyline Nexus ERP as a project with milestones, a budget and material requisitions, tag every cost to it, and follow valuations that are still unpaid in the AR Aging Report. Budget vs Actual flags overspending before the next milestone is claimed.
Skyline Nexus ERP is available in English and Arabic, with interface translations for many other languages chosen from the language selector, and labels that are not translated fall back to English. Most Abuja offices work in English, and every account in the chart of accounts can also carry an Arabic name.
During the Skyline Nexus ERP free trial an Abuja firm can import its contacts and chart of accounts, set up one contract as a project, record one building with its units and leases, raise a maintenance work order and post a month of test invoices in naira at 7.5% VAT before deciding.
Skyline Nexus ERP suits the back office of an Abuja hotel or caterer under NGN 1bn turnover: outlet stock and tills, kitchen orders in the POS, event quotations that become invoices, food expiry reports and CMMS work orders for rooms and generators. Room reservations stay in the hotel's booking system, because Skyline Nexus is not a reservation tool.
Skyline Nexus ERP is a cloud service run by Skyline Industrial Solution. We have no office in Abuja; support is by WhatsApp, phone and e-mail.
