Faridabad at a glance
Faridabad grew as an industrial town on the Mathura Road, and engineering still sets its rhythm. Units in the industrial sectors of Faridabad and Ballabgarh turn out auto components, tractor and farm-equipment parts, electrical goods, forgings and fabricated structures, while dealers in NIT Faridabad and Old Faridabad sell steel, hardware, bearings and electrical supplies to those factories and to builders across the NCR.
A Faridabad firm registers for GST under Haryana on the GST portal, and its micro and small units can also file a free Udyam Registration, the record that the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME) uses for its support schemes. Owners here often juggle job-work for larger manufacturers, credit from dealers and buyers in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, which keeps both stock and inter-State tax on the agenda.
A Faridabad forging or machining unit may buy steel bars, send parts out for heat treatment, receive them back and dispatch finished components to an assembler in another State. Its difficulty is knowing what each component truly costs, how much material sits with job-workers and which machines are due for maintenance before a breakdown stops a shift.
Skyline Nexus ERP handles the production side with MES manufacturing: work orders, bills of materials and routings that consume raw material and add finished goods to stock. Material is costed by FIFO or LIFO, so the cost of each batch follows the steel actually used. CMMS maintenance plans work on furnaces, presses and lathes, asset records hold the machine register, and cost centres split overheads between the forge, the machine shop and the paint line.
The dealers of NIT Faridabad carry a wide range of small items, from fasteners and bearings to cables and switchgear, and sell most of them on credit to factories that pay at month end. Their daily questions are simple and pressing: which factory has crossed its credit limit, which fast-moving items need reordering, and how much stock lies in the back godown rather than the shop.
Skyline Nexus ERP keeps customers with GSTIN and opening balances, raises receivables from each credit invoice and shows receivable ageing so overdue factory accounts stand out. The shop and the godown can be separate locations with their own stock, and location-wise stock reports show what to reorder. Purchases from mills and distributors post to payables, giving a Faridabad dealer both sides of the credit cycle in one ledger.
Consider a Faridabad electrical-supplies dealer running a typical billing app. GST bills print and stock counts drop with each sale, but the books are often kept by an accountant in another package or a spreadsheet, so the trial balance is assembled at month or year end. A credit-book app would capture dues from factories but not stock, purchases or a full double-entry ledger, while a separate accounting package keeps sound books only after sales are re-keyed.
In Skyline Nexus ERP, once Auto-post Sales Transactions is turned on, every final sale posts a balanced journal for sales, output tax, cost of goods and inventory moments after it is saved. Purchases, payments and expenses post likewise, so the dealer's trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet stay current and can be filtered by branch. Some billing apps do better today on IRN, e-way bills and offline billing, which Skyline Nexus does not support yet.
India tax integration
Haryana has GST State code 06: every GSTIN registered in Haryana starts with 06. Sales inside Haryana carry CGST + SGST; sales to another State carry IGST. A branch in another State needs its own GSTIN and the right place of supply on each invoice: in Skyline Nexus ERP you choose the intra-State or inter-State tax group on the sale.
GST rates in force since 22 September 2025 (5%, 18%, 40%; 0.25%, 1.5% and 3% for stones and jewellery) and older rates for past periods; a cess as an extra component of a tax group.
Tax groups combining CGST + SGST (or UTGST) into one rate, plus IGST rates, set per product and chosen per sale.
Prices entered tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive per product; the POS works out the tax either way.
Your GSTIN as the business tax number and the customer's GSTIN on the contact record, both printed on invoices.
An HSN column on invoices from the product category code, an editable invoice heading (for example "Tax Invoice" or "Bill of Supply") and a receipt design that prints each tax component in its own column.
Credit notes for sales returns, debit notes for sales and purchases, and purchase returns.
With auto-posting on, every final sale, return, purchase and expense posts output or input tax to its own ledger account, matching the tax report.
Branches with their own invoice numbering and invoice layout; a branch's own GSTIN can be printed on its invoices from a location field.
Tax report: input tax on purchases, output tax on sales and tax on expenses for any period, branch or contact.
Trial balance, general ledger and day book with the input and output tax accounts, exported to Excel or PDF.
Audit Pack: one Excel workbook with trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, journals, sales, purchases and a ledger tax summary.
Sales and purchase lists your chartered accountant can use to prepare GST returns. Skyline Nexus ERP does not file returns itself.
Automatic CGST + SGST or IGST from the place of supply.
HSN and SAC codes per item with validation, and separate B2B, B2C and export invoice types.
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B style summaries and input tax credit matching: ask us.

E-way bills and direct filing on the GST portal.
Reverse-charge marking for India, TDS and TCS.

Faridabad registrations carry Haryana's State code, so each GSTIN opens with 06. Supplies inside Haryana split the GST rate equally between CGST and SGST, and supplies to Delhi, Uttar Pradesh or other States carry IGST at the full rate, which matters for a town whose factories often ship across State lines. Registration becomes due above INR 20 lakh aggregate turnover, or INR 40 lakh for goods-only suppliers outside the ice cream, pan masala and tobacco trades.
Inside Skyline Nexus ERP you build tax groups such as CGST 9% plus SGST 9% and IGST 18%, select the right group on each invoice and print an HSN column from the category code. A Faridabad manufacturer above INR 5 crore aggregate turnover must obtain an IRN from the IRP for B2B invoices, which Skyline Nexus does not do yet, and e-way bills for consignments over INR 50,000 are not generated either.
Faridabad manufacturers and dealers reach Skyline Nexus ERP through the India waitlist and a demo: choose Join the waitlist, Book a demo or Ask on WhatsApp on this page. Support is by WhatsApp, phone and e-mail, and there is no office in India, so demos run online. Units with job-work, several machines or more than one godown should ask for a guided demo rather than a quick call.
Have your raw materials, finished items and opening stock ready for CSV import, along with customers and suppliers carrying GSTIN and opening balances, your chart of accounts and the plants or godowns you run in Faridabad. Skyline Nexus is set up with an April financial year, INR, dd-mm-yyyy dates and amounts in words in lakh and crore.
A Faridabad factory registered in Haryana charges IGST at the full rate when goods go to a buyer in Delhi or any other State, and CGST plus SGST only on supplies within Haryana. In Skyline Nexus ERP the IGST tax group is selected on such invoices by staff, as Skyline Nexus does not yet switch groups by place of supply.
A Faridabad unit supplying goods only may use the INR 40 lakh threshold, unless it trades in ice cream, pan masala or tobacco; otherwise registration is due above INR 20 lakh aggregate turnover in a financial year. Some suppliers must register regardless of turnover. Faridabad GSTINs start with Haryana's code 06.
Yes. Skyline Nexus ERP provides MES manufacturing with work orders, bills of materials and routings, consuming raw material and receiving finished parts into stock at FIFO or LIFO cost. A Faridabad forging unit can also plan furnace and press maintenance through CMMS and split overheads with cost centres, subject to the package chosen.
Skyline Nexus ERP records each credit sale as a receivable, imports opening balances for existing factory customers and shows receivable ageing so overdue accounts are easy to chase. A Faridabad hardware dealer can keep the shop and godown as separate stock locations and see purchases and payables in the same ledger.
Many billing apps used in Faridabad print GST bills and keep stock counts, while the books are often kept separately and rebuilt at month end. Skyline Nexus ERP posts each final sale as a balanced journal once auto-posting is switched on, so the trial balance and balance sheet stay current. Some billing apps are ahead on IRN, e-way bills and offline billing, which Skyline Nexus does not have yet.
Skyline Nexus ERP offers a Hindi interface translation alongside English, so Faridabad shop-floor and godown staff can work in Hindi. The currency is INR, dates can follow dd-mm-yyyy, the financial year starts in April and invoices print the amount in words in lakh and crore.
A Faridabad business joins the India waitlist or books a demo of Skyline Nexus ERP on this page, or asks first on WhatsApp. Items, opening stock, contacts with GSTIN and balances and the chart of accounts can be imported from CSV files.
