Noida at a glance
The district site of Gautam Buddh Nagar calls itself the industrial hub of Uttar Pradesh, and Noida earns the title. Its industrial phases and Greater Noida host electronics and mobile-phone assembly, garment and hosiery export units and light engineering; the Noida Special Economic Zone houses export-oriented manufacturers; IT offices line the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway; and Sector 18 with its malls is the city's main shopping district.
A Noida business registers for GST under Uttar Pradesh, where the Commercial Taxes Department runs the State side of the tax, and looks to Invest UP and UPSIDA for industrial land and incentives. Further south, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is developing land around the Noida International Airport at Jewar. With Delhi across the Yamuna, a Noida firm often bills customers in another State.
A Noida electronics assembler buys components in large lots, builds sub-assemblies, tests them and ships finished devices, while a garment exporter in the industrial phases cuts fabric, sends work to stitching and finishing, and packs orders against a shipment date. Both need to know material consumption per order and the true cost of each batch, and both keep raw material, work in progress and finished goods in stock at once.
Skyline Nexus ERP covers that cycle with MES manufacturing: work orders, bills of materials and routings, with raw material costed by FIFO or LIFO so batch cost follows the lots actually used. Purchases and supplier bills post to payables, CMMS maintenance schedules work on SMT lines or sewing machines, and asset records hold the equipment register. A unit with plants in Noida and Greater Noida can run each as its own location.
Noida's software and services companies along the expressway sell projects and retainers, not stock, and need proposals, milestones and project budgets tied to invoicing. Retailers around Sector 18 and the neighbourhood markets face the opposite problem: many items, fast-moving stock, several cash counters and, for growing chains, outlets spread across Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi.
Skyline Nexus ERP serves the first group with projects (tasks, milestones and budgets), CRM for leads, campaigns and proposals, and cost centres per client line. For retailers it offers a POS with cash registers, stock per outlet, stock transfers between outlets and location-wise reports, with each outlet keeping its own invoice numbering and layout. Both groups see profit and loss per branch or consolidated.
Think of a Noida hosiery exporter or a Sector 18 mobile-accessories shop on a typical billing app. GST bills print and stock counts fall, yet the books are often kept by an accountant in a separate package or a spreadsheet, so the trial balance is pieced together at month or year end. Credit-book apps capture who owes what but not stock or purchases, and a separate accounting package holds good books once counter sales are exported into it.
Skyline Nexus ERP, with Auto-post Sales Transactions switched on, posts a balanced journal for every final sale covering sales, output tax, cost of goods and inventory as soon as the sale is saved. Purchases, payments and expenses post the same way, so a Noida owner reads a current trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet, filtered by branch if needed. Some billing apps are ahead today on IRN, e-way bills and offline billing, which Skyline Nexus does not offer yet.
India tax integration
Uttar Pradesh has GST State code 09: every GSTIN registered in Uttar Pradesh starts with 09. Sales inside Uttar Pradesh carry CGST + SGST; sales to another State carry IGST. A branch in another State needs its own GSTIN and the right place of supply on each invoice: in Skyline Nexus ERP you choose the intra-State or inter-State tax group on the sale.
GST rates in force since 22 September 2025 (5%, 18%, 40%; 0.25%, 1.5% and 3% for stones and jewellery) and older rates for past periods; a cess as an extra component of a tax group.
Tax groups combining CGST + SGST (or UTGST) into one rate, plus IGST rates, set per product and chosen per sale.
Prices entered tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive per product; the POS works out the tax either way.
Your GSTIN as the business tax number and the customer's GSTIN on the contact record, both printed on invoices.
An HSN column on invoices from the product category code, an editable invoice heading (for example "Tax Invoice" or "Bill of Supply") and a receipt design that prints each tax component in its own column.
Credit notes for sales returns, debit notes for sales and purchases, and purchase returns.
With auto-posting on, every final sale, return, purchase and expense posts output or input tax to its own ledger account, matching the tax report.
Branches with their own invoice numbering and invoice layout; a branch's own GSTIN can be printed on its invoices from a location field.
Tax report: input tax on purchases, output tax on sales and tax on expenses for any period, branch or contact.
Trial balance, general ledger and day book with the input and output tax accounts, exported to Excel or PDF.
Audit Pack: one Excel workbook with trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, journals, sales, purchases and a ledger tax summary.
Sales and purchase lists your chartered accountant can use to prepare GST returns. Skyline Nexus ERP does not file returns itself.
Automatic CGST + SGST or IGST from the place of supply.
HSN and SAC codes per item with validation, and separate B2B, B2C and export invoice types.
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B style summaries and input tax credit matching: ask us.
E-invoicing through the Invoice Registration Portal (IRN and signed QR): the India connector is built but not live. Ask us for your go-live date.
E-way bills and direct filing on the GST portal.
Reverse-charge marking for India, TDS and TCS.
Indian payroll items (PF, ESI, professional tax) are not offered: payroll in Skyline Nexus ERP is built for Saudi Arabia.

Every GSTIN registered in Uttar Pradesh starts with 09. Sales within Uttar Pradesh carry CGST plus SGST at half the rate each, while sales from Noida to Delhi, Haryana or any other State carry IGST at the full rate, a routine matter for a city on the Delhi border. Registration is due above INR 20 lakh aggregate turnover in a financial year, or INR 40 lakh for goods-only suppliers, except those in ice cream, pan masala and tobacco.
In Skyline Nexus ERP you set up tax groups such as CGST 9% plus SGST 9% and IGST 18%, choose the group on each invoice and print an HSN column from the category code. Noida suppliers above INR 5 crore aggregate turnover must report B2B, export and SEZ invoices to the IRP for an IRN, which Skyline Nexus does not do yet, and e-way bills and GSTR returns are not produced in it.
Noida and Greater Noida businesses come to Skyline Nexus ERP through the India waitlist and a demo: select Join the waitlist, Book a demo or Ask on WhatsApp on this page. Support runs by WhatsApp, phone and e-mail, with no office in India, so every session is online. Exporters and assemblers with bills of materials benefit most from a guided demo built around one of their own products.
Prepare components, fabrics or finished items with opening stock for CSV import, customers and suppliers with GSTIN and opening balances, the chart of accounts and the plants, offices or outlets you run in and around Noida. Skyline Nexus uses a financial year starting in April, INR, dd-mm-yyyy dates and amounts in words in lakh and crore.
Yes. A Noida business registered in Uttar Pradesh charges IGST at the full rate when the place of supply is Delhi or any other State, and CGST plus SGST only within Uttar Pradesh. In Skyline Nexus ERP staff pick the IGST tax group on those invoices, because Skyline Nexus does not switch groups by place of supply automatically.
A Noida shop selling goods only can register once aggregate turnover passes INR 40 lakh in a financial year, unless it sells ice cream, pan masala or tobacco; for services or mixed supplies the threshold is INR 20 lakh. Some suppliers must register regardless of turnover. Uttar Pradesh GSTINs begin with 09, and Skyline Nexus ERP stores them on the business and on contacts.
Yes. Skyline Nexus ERP includes MES manufacturing with work orders, bills of materials and routings, consuming components from stock and receiving finished devices at FIFO or LIFO cost. A Noida electronics assembler can also schedule line maintenance through CMMS and keep plants in Noida and Greater Noida as separate locations, depending on the package.
A unit in the Noida Special Economic Zone can use Skyline Nexus ERP for production, stock, purchases and books, with tax groups set up for its supplies. Suppliers selling into an SEZ above INR 5 crore aggregate turnover must report those invoices to the IRP, which Skyline Nexus does not do yet, so such firms should join the waitlist and keep their current IRN route.
A Noida shop on a typical billing app gets printed GST bills and a running stock count, and its accountant usually rebuilds the ledger later from exported sales. In Skyline Nexus ERP the same counter sale becomes a balanced journal entry the moment it is finalised, provided auto-posting is enabled, so stock, profit and the balance sheet move together. Where Skyline Nexus is behind for now is IRN reporting, e-way bills and working offline, none of which it supports yet.
Skyline Nexus ERP offers an English interface with a Hindi interface translation, so Noida factory, godown and counter staff can work in Hindi. Amounts are in INR, dates can be dd-mm-yyyy, the financial year starts in April and invoices print the amount in words in lakh and crore.
Getting started from Noida takes three moves: join the India waitlist on this page, book a Skyline Nexus ERP demo, and send a sample of your data, or simply ask on WhatsApp first. Product lists, opening stock, customer and supplier balances with GSTINs and the chart of accounts all load from CSV files. Help is given by WhatsApp, phone and e-mail, since there is no office in India.
