Vijayawada at a glance
Vijayawada sits where the Krishna leaves the hills, at a railway junction and a crossroads of highways, and it has long been the wholesale market for coastal Andhra. One Town, Wynchpet and Governorpet trade cloth, steel, hardware and groceries; Besant Road and Benz Circle hold retail; Autonagar is a vast cluster of vehicle workshops, bus-body builders and spare-parts dealers.
Since the 2022 district reorganisation, Vijayawada belongs to NTR district. Shops take trade licences from the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation, register for GST on the national portal, and factories in Kondapalli take plots from the State industrial infrastructure corporation. Most firms here are family businesses with a shop, a godown and a long list of credit customers in nearby towns.
A One Town cloth or hardware wholesaler supplies retailers in Guntur, Eluru, Machilipatnam and smaller towns, often on thirty or sixty days of credit, and buys from mills and manufacturers in other States. Goods move by lorry every day, and the owner's real question each evening is simple: what was sold, what is owed, and what is left in the godown.
Skyline Nexus ERP answers that with a POS and sales invoices that reduce stock in the right location, purchases that record inter-State suppliers with their GSTIN, and receivable ageing for retailers in thirty or sixty-day buckets. FIFO or LIFO costing sets the cost of goods sold, so a Vijayawada wholesaler sees margin per bill, not only turnover.
Autonagar mixes spare-parts counters, lathe shops, body builders and service garages, while transport companies and lorry booking offices work around the highways. A parts dealer carries thousands of small items with frequent price changes; a body builder works job by job on chassis supplied by the customer; a fleet owner tracks repair spending per vehicle.
Skyline Nexus ERP handles counter sales of parts with stock per location, manufacturing work orders and bills of materials for body building or fabrication, and cost centres to track spending per vehicle or per route. Asset management records vehicles and equipment, and CMMS work orders log their repairs for a Vijayawada fleet.
Think of an Autonagar spare-parts dealer with a second counter on the highway. A typical billing app prints GST bills and tracks quantities, while the books are kept in an accountant's package and the trial balance is rebuilt at year end. A khata app records which garages owe money but not the parts behind it. A separate accounting package keeps good books, though the counter data is re-keyed.
In Skyline Nexus ERP, with Auto-post Sales Transactions switched on, each final counter sale posts a balanced journal to sales, output tax, cost of goods and inventory, so the dealer's trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet are current and can be filtered by counter. Some other tools are ahead today on e-way bill generation, which Skyline Nexus does not offer yet.
India tax integration
Andhra Pradesh has GST State code 37: every GSTIN registered in Andhra Pradesh starts with 37. Sales inside Andhra Pradesh carry CGST + SGST; sales to another State carry IGST. A branch in another State needs its own GSTIN and the right place of supply on each invoice: in Skyline Nexus ERP you choose the intra-State or inter-State tax group on the sale.
GST rates in force since 22 September 2025 (5%, 18%, 40%; 0.25%, 1.5% and 3% for stones and jewellery) and older rates for past periods; a cess as an extra component of a tax group.
Tax groups combining CGST + SGST (or UTGST) into one rate, plus IGST rates, set per product and chosen per sale.
Prices entered tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive per product; the POS works out the tax either way.
Your GSTIN as the business tax number and the customer's GSTIN on the contact record, both printed on invoices.
An HSN column on invoices from the product category code, an editable invoice heading (for example "Tax Invoice" or "Bill of Supply") and a receipt design that prints each tax component in its own column.
Credit notes for sales returns, debit notes for sales and purchases, and purchase returns.
With auto-posting on, every final sale, return, purchase and expense posts output or input tax to its own ledger account, matching the tax report.
Branches with their own invoice numbering and invoice layout; a branch's own GSTIN can be printed on its invoices from a location field.
Tax report: input tax on purchases, output tax on sales and tax on expenses for any period, branch or contact.
Trial balance, general ledger and day book with the input and output tax accounts, exported to Excel or PDF.
Audit Pack: one Excel workbook with trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, journals, sales, purchases and a ledger tax summary.
Sales and purchase lists your chartered accountant can use to prepare GST returns. Skyline Nexus ERP does not file returns itself.
Automatic CGST + SGST or IGST from the place of supply.
HSN and SAC codes per item with validation, and separate B2B, B2C and export invoice types.
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B style summaries and input tax credit matching: ask us.
E-invoicing through the Invoice Registration Portal (IRN and signed QR): the India connector is built but not live. Ask us for your go-live date.
E-way bills and direct filing on the GST portal.
Reverse-charge marking for India, TDS and TCS.

A Vijayawada GSTIN starts with 37 for Andhra Pradesh. Bills to retailers in Guntur or Eluru carry CGST and SGST at half the rate each; consignments to Hyderabad or Chennai carry IGST. Registration applies above INR 20 lakh turnover, though goods-only suppliers in Andhra Pradesh may register from INR 40 lakh, except those selling ice cream, pan masala or tobacco.
Wholesalers above INR 5 crore aggregate turnover must report B2B invoices to the IRP, which Skyline Nexus ERP does not do yet, and lorry consignments need e-way bills that Skyline Nexus cannot generate yet. What it does today: tax groups like CGST 9% + SGST 9% and IGST 18% that you pick per sale, plus an HSN column from the category code.
India onboarding runs through Join the waitlist on this page, Book a demo and Ask on WhatsApp. A Vijayawada trader should gather the item list with opening stock in the shop and godown, retailer and supplier contacts with GSTIN and opening balances, the chart of accounts, and each counter or godown to be set up as a branch.
Skyline Nexus ERP uses an April financial year, INR, dd-mm-yyyy dates and amounts in words in lakh and crore on bills. Products, stock and contacts import from CSV, which suits a parts dealer whose catalogue already lives in a spreadsheet. Support is by WhatsApp, phone and e-mail; there is no office in India.
A Vijayawada business registers in Andhra Pradesh, so its GSTIN starts with 37. Sales within Andhra Pradesh carry CGST and SGST, and sales to other States carry IGST. Skyline Nexus ERP keeps both tax groups and you select one on each bill.
A Vijayawada wholesaler that supplies goods only may use the INR 40 lakh threshold in Andhra Pradesh, unless it sells ice cream, pan masala or tobacco. Others register above INR 20 lakh turnover. Once registered, the GSTIN and each customer's GSTIN can be stored in Skyline Nexus ERP.
Yes. Skyline Nexus ERP gives an Autonagar dealer in Vijayawada a POS with stock per counter, FIFO or LIFO costing and credit sales to garages with ageing. Each final sale posts to the ledger once auto-posting is switched on, so margins appear daily.
No, not yet. Skyline Nexus ERP does not generate e-way bills, so a Vijayawada transporter or wholesaler moving goods above INR 50,000 still uses the government e-way bill portal for each consignment. Skyline Nexus covers stock, sales, purchases and the ledger, and the lorry load can be invoiced there first.
Many billing apps print the GST bill and count stock, and the accounts are prepared elsewhere. Skyline Nexus ERP posts every final sale of a Vijayawada shop to the ledger once auto-posting is on, so its trial balance and balance sheet are current by branch. Billing apps may be ahead on GSTR return features, which Skyline Nexus does not have yet.
Skyline Nexus ERP has an English interface and a Hindi interface translation, with other languages too. INR is available as the business currency, dd-mm-yyyy dates are supported, and invoice amounts can be written in lakh and crore. Vijayawada users can ask in the demo about other Indian languages.
A Vijayawada business fills in the India waitlist form on this page or books a demo. After that it imports items, opening stock, contacts and the chart of accounts from CSV into Skyline Nexus ERP. Support is by WhatsApp, phone and e-mail, with no office in India.
